PRO TIP
❑
Carefully snap the plastic clevis on the pushrod wire into
the
outermost hole
in the vertical tail control horn.
We suggest installing the clevis into the
outermost hole in the control horn for your first few flights.
This will make it easier to control the airplane. Once
you're proficient at flying the airplane, you can move
the pushrod wire into the middle or inner hole to increase
the control response.
STEP 5: INSTALLING THE BOTTOM WING
❑
Working with one end of the bottom wing for now,
carefully push one plastic wing brace into place on the
bottom of the wing, making sure that the mounting tabs on
the wing brace are pushed up through the pre-drilled holes
in the wing.
❑
Carefully push two short screws through the two holes
in the plastic plate, so that the tips of the screws stick out
through the top of the wing.

✦
Before installing the plastic wing strut,
be aware that the top and bottom of the plastic wing strut
are different. The bottom of the wing strut is curved more
than the top, to match the curve on the top of the wing.
❑
Carefully install one plastic wing strut to the top of the
bottom wing, making sure to tighten the two screws
completely.

IMPORTANT

✦
✦
✦
✦
Make sure that when installing the wing
strut, that it is angled forward, toward the front of the wing.
This will ensure that the top wing will line up properly
when you install it in the next step.
❑
Repeat the previous procedures to install the second plastic wing strut onto the other half of the bottom wing.
