MAS7.1 Component Video Switch
Initial Setup...
Make analog audio, digital audio, and HDMI connections as
required by your par ticular setup.
If using a PC (or other serial controller), connect it to the
RS-22 por t using a standard PC serial cable.
Hardwired IR control is also available using the IR-IN jack .
Plug the power module into the MAS7.1, and plug the mod-
ule into a standard A.C. wall receptacle. The standby LED
will light up.
Selecting an Input...
To switch between any of the three inputs, simply press the
button for the desired input. If the MAS7.1 is in the standby
mode, it will turn on. The MAS7.1 will then switch to the se -
lected input, and the associated LEDs will light to indicate
this.
To place the MAS7.1 back into the standby mode, press and
release the Power Toggle button. The channel LEDs will all
go blank , and the standby LED will light up. Press the Power
Toggle button again to re -select the previously selected
input.
Synchronizing Primary and Secondary Switches...
When the SYNC LED is lit, the primar y and secondar y selec-
tions will switch at the same time. To allow the primar y and
secondar y selections to be switched independently, press
the SYNC button to toggle the SYNC LED.
By default, the primar y switch controls the 5.1 audio
settings.
By default, the secondar y switch controls the L & R stereo
channels, the digital audio channel, and the HDMI channel.
You can change the default behavior. The channels con-
trolled by the primar y and secondar y switches are configu-
rable and described later in this manual. See the section on
"Primar y / Secondar y Mappings".
