Preface
This guide describes how to install and use a 3Com Gigabit EtherLink Server network interface card (NIC) in a
Novell NetWare operating environment. The procedures in this manual assume that you are a system or network
administrator experienced in installing similar hardware.
How This Book Is Organized
This book is organized as follows:

describes the features of the NICs and lists the hardware and software
requirements for installation and use.
