Introduction
The MC-2000 is a low-cost, easy to use, 5 lb. money counter and scale designed pri-
marily for counting out cash register drawers of US coins, bills & coin rolls. Other fea-
tures include conventional counting of items other than coins, plus basic weighing in
grams and ounces. When not counting money, use your MC-2000 to determine post-
age or count raffle tickets, literature, plastic or electronic parts, nuts & bolts, beads or
whatever you desire.
The MC-2000 is fast, accurate and
very user-friendly, prompting the operator through a cash
drawer count in the same typical fashion as hand counting: coins (1,5,10,25,$1), bills
(1,5,10,20,50,100) & coin rolls (1,5,10,25,$1). A totalized value is available at any time by the
press of a button. The MC-2000 has user setup adjustments allowing customized site operation,
best suited for individual desires. (see “F” settings in this manual.
Housed in a durable, compact gray-colored plastic enclosure, the MC-2000 is easy to store when
not in use. Six (6) AA alkaline battery operation allows for easy portability. An environmentally
friendly AC adapter is included at no extra charge.
A coin scoop is provided with each scale and is necessary for the purpose of counting coins.
Optional AD-1191 Roll Printer provides an audit trail with individual quantity & monetary value for
each coin & bill along with time, date & total.
Getting Started
After unpacking the scale, a small amount of assembly is required. These instructions are extremely
important for maximizing accuracy & count performance!!!!!!

Locate the platform and affix to the scale in the holes provided. Be sure to align the end marked
“FRONT” with the front of the scale. Firmly squeeze the platter into place.

Plug the enclosed AC Adapter into the MC-2000 first, then into an AC outlet. (Or install 6 each al-
kaline batteries.)

Place the MC-2000 on a firm and stable table, ensuring all leveling legs are firmly resting on your
counter.

When using the AC adapter, we recommend that you leave power on continuously.

Do not share an AC outlet with other noise producing products; i.e. anything with an electrical motor
or relay.

Do not turn the scale ON with an object already on the platform.

Do not operate the MC-2000...
...in an area with changing ambient temperature.
...in direct sunlight.
...in an area with high humidity.
...in a dusty environment.
...in a windy area.
...in an area with vibration.
