Level the Rigid Arm
When you level the rigid arm, you will
adjust the set screws to change the rigid arm
mount position on the wall. For instance,
you may actually need to create a gap
between the mounting plate and the
backboard to level the rigid arm. You must
loosen the mounting screws in order to
tighten and loosen the set screws. After the
set screw adjustment is complete, you will
tighten the mounting screws to secure the
mount in the level position.
To Level the Rigid Arm
1. Move the rigid arm perpendicular to the
wall and place the level on the rigid arm.
2. Use a 3/16" hex key to loosen the
mounting screws.
3. Tighten and/or loosen the set screws
until the mount is level.
4. Move the rigid arm parallel to the wall
and place the level on top of and at the
end of the rigid arm.
5. Adjust the mount until the rigid arm
is level.
6. Tighten the mounting screws.
Adjust the Monitor Handles
Use a 1/8
"
hex key to remove the screws
securing the monitor handles to the monitor.
Move the handles to the desired position
and secure with the screws. See Figure 22.
Adjust the Tilt Friction
The tilt friction adjustment allows you to
adjust the pivot tension of the monitor. Use
a 5/32
"
hex key to adjust the tilt clutch. See
Figure 23.
NOTE
Leveling the rigid arm
may require tightening and
loosening both sets of screws a
few times.
