RS-232 Codes
RS-232 Code Implementation:
All Command and Response codes are six (6) bytes.
For every Command, the response is the same code.
Only PWR*** & VER*** codes are available when the unit is in the powered
down status (where *** are the last three bytes of the six byte code group).
Some commands result in a wait state wherein no additional commands will
be accepted until the unit issues a RDY*** response.
Data Protocol:
Baud Rate:
9600 bps
Data Bits:
8 Bits
Parity:
None
Stop Bits:
1 Bit
Note:
Some commands require more time to execute than others. Any user written RS -
232 control program should include processing of the echoed Response codes
before attempting to execute a new command to avoid data collisions.
RS-232 Codes
The following table contains the six byte code groups, the RDY*** codes (where
relevant) and a comment section that provides plain text descriptions of the
action that will be taken by the AVT-3190HD when given the codes.Make certain
that the data structure is as specified when using the RS-232 capability.
