HOSE AND REGULATOR
The hose and regulator are supplied by the
manufacturer. You may only use a combi-
nation of hose and regulator if this complies
withalllocalandnationalstandardsand
rulesandcorrespondswiththeconnections
on the gas cylinder used and the gas type/
nominal pressure given on the barbecue.
Keep the hose as short as possible.
• Neverconnectthebarbecuetoa
non-regulated gas supply. Never try
to alter the hose or regulator in any
waywhatsoever.
• Priortoeachuseofthebarbecue,
check the hose over its full length
foranydamage(cracks,tears,burnt
sections)orexcessivewear.When
younoticeanydamageorwear,
replace the hose before using the
barbecue,inaccordancewiththe
national standards
• Fat(oranyotherhotsubstance)
must never fall onto the hose, and
the hose must never come into
contactwithanyhotpointsonthe
barbecue
• Theconnectoroftheregulatormust
beprotectedwhenitisnotconnec-
ted to the cylinder
• Ensurethatthehosedoesnotdrag
on the ground, because this can
cause problems for the airtightness
of the connection.
• Donotdistortthehosewhencon-
necting or disconnecting the cylinder
• Themaximumpermissiblelengthof
the hose is 1.5m
CONNECTING THE GAS CYLINDER
Toconnectthegascylinder,followthe
instructions for the gas pressure regulator.
1. Wind the gas hose over the regulator,
first by hand and then fasten it firmly
using a 17mm spanner.
2. VERY IMPORTANT
Connect the gas pressure regulator to
the cylinder by tightening the regulator
connection to the right on the tank.
Then fasten it in place using an adjusta-
ble spanner
