Description of the System
Key Mode Switch
The Key Mode Switch provides four logical functions, which are enabled only when AC
power is present in the base unit.
The four logical functions are:
Power Off
Service
Normal
Secure
The key can be removed only in the Power Off and Secure positions. The key is locked in
the Normal and Service positions for safety reasons.
The following table summarizes the available operations for each Key Mode Switch
position:
Note:
During Remote Maintenance sessions the position of the key is not meaningful. All
operations listed in the table can be performed.
