Using the 4 mm Tape Drive
The 4 mm tape drive, is a high capacity tape drive. It is typically used as a backup drive.
Functions
The 4 mm tape drive has one green status light and one amber status light. The on/off
combinations of the status light indicate the conditions of the 4 mm tape drive.

Clean/Attention Light (Amber)
Flashes amber to indicate head cleaning is needed or a cartridge is near the end of its life.
Steady amber indicates a serious fault.
Tape Light (Green)
Flashes green to show activity (loading, unloading, reading and writing). Steady green
means a cartridge is loaded.
