1. Battery Loading
• Open battery cover at the bottom of BPM;
• Load a “AA” size batteries. Please pay attention to polarity
• Close the Battery Cover.
• Use only batteries conform to Directive 2006/66/EC
When LCD shows battery signal it means you must change the batteries at once
Since neither the device nor batteries are household waste, follow you national / local recycling
rules and dispose of them at appropriate collection sites.
2. Cuff connecting
• Make sure there is not leakage when place the rubber tube plug of cuff into the main body’s
socket. The socket for cuff connector is located in the left side of the MY PRESSURE
• Put the end of cuff through metal hoop. Make sure that the two nylon outlets are located
on the outside surface of the cuff.
3. Cuff Swathing
• Place cuff 2-3 cm above elbow joint
• Place palm upside and let it be parallel with rubber tube
• Measuring at the same arm each time
• Measuring on the bare arm especially for the feeble pulse. If measuring of clothing, it should
be thin and smooth
• Turn the cuff end outward and tighten it be pulling through the metal loop then press the
loop into the surface of cuff
• Do not make the cuff too loose or too tight, spacing of finger narrowly is appreciated
4. Measuring Process
• When your body is in comfortable position, press the “0/I” button to switch the power, BPM
will begin to work and examine itself
• All LCD will glimmer for 2 seconds.
• After examining itself, buzzer calls and LCD shows “0” mmHg
• After the LCD show “0” mmHg, the pump start to inflate the cuff. The LCD will display the
cuff pressure at same time
• Under normal conditions, pressurization will be performed until 190mmHg. If pressurization
is found to be insufficient, it will automatically increase to higher pressure. Maximum is
300mmHg
• The BPM set 4 inflation pressurization in advance, they are 190,230, 270, 300mmHg
• When the pressure reaches correct inflation level. The cuff pressure will begin to deflate
automatically
• The pressure will be gradually reduced, and LCD displays the current pressure. The Heart
Symbol flashes at the onset of oscillation signals
• Please do not more your arm and body during measuring
• After a long beep the automatic measurement completed, the blood pressure value will
appear.
5. Reading Result of Measurement
• LCD will automatically display the systolic and diastolic pressure reading in mmHg after
each measurement. Pulse rate (pulse/mm) is also display synchronously.
6. Re-measuring
• If you want to measure again, press the “ON/OFF” button, to turn off the BPM. Relax the
cuff and wait 3 minutes at least, close the cuff again and press the “ON/OFF” button to
