ni use la herramienta como
rectificadora fija.
16. Use solamente ruedas abrasivas
aprobadas y solamente utilice la
superficie de rectificación normal.
Nunca use los lados ni las
superficies superiores para cortar.
17. Asegúrese de que la herramienta
esté conectada solamente al voltaje
marcado en la placa.
18. Nunca utilice una herramienta si le
falta la cubierta o alguno de los
pernos. Si se han quitado la
cubierta o los pernos, vuelva a
colocarlos antes de usar. Mantenga
todas las piezas en buenas
condiciones de funcionamiento.
19. Siempre asegure las herramientas
cuando trabaje en posiciones
elevadas.
20. Nunca encienda una herramienta
cuando su componente giratorio
esté en contacto con la pieza de
trabajo.

Funcionamiento
Manejo de la rectificadora
Mantenga la protección de seguridad
en su lugar para evitar posibles
lesiones graves.
Nunca
cubra las ventilaciones de aire ya que
siempre deben estar abiertas para el
correcto enfriamiento del motor.
La clave para un funcionamiento
eficiente es controlar la presión y el
contacto con la superficie entre el
disco y la pieza de trabajo.
Las superficies planas se rectifican a un
ángulo agudo, generalmente entre
10 y 20 grados con respecto a la pieza
de trabajo. Permita que el disco
alcance la velocidad máxima antes de
comenzar a rectificar. Un ángulo
demasiado amplio causará la
concentración de la presión en un área
reducida, lo cual puede provocar ranuras
o quemar la superficie de trabajo.
INTERRUPTOR
Una vez enchufada la herramienta, la
única forma de que funcione es
presionando el interruptor ON/OFF.
Mientras la herramienta está
encendida, puede presionar el botón
Lock (bloqueo) que mantendrá la
herramienta encendida cuando suelte
el interruptor ON/OFF.
Para desbloquear la rectificadora,
simplemente presione el interruptor
ON/OFF para soltar el botón de
bloqueo.

damaged, have the tool serviced
before using. Many accidents are
caused by poorly maintained tools.
• Use only accessories that are
recommended by the manufacturer
for your model. Accessories suitable
for one tool may create a risk of
injury when used on another tool.
• Some woods contain
preservatives which can
be toxic. Take extra
care to prevent
inhalation and skin
contact when working with these
materials. Request and follow all
safety information available from
your material supplier.
• Store tools out of reach of children
and other untrained persons. Tools
are dangerous in the hands of
untrained users.
GRINDER SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
1. Check that speed marked on the
wheel is equal to or greater than
the rated speed of the grinder.
2. Ensure that the wheel dimensions
are compatible with the grinder
and that the wheel fits the spindle.
3. Abrasive wheels should be stored
and handled with care in
accordance with manufacturer’s
instructions.
4. Ensure that mounted wheels and
points are fitted in accordance
with the manufacturer’s
instructions.
5. Ensure that blotters are used when
they are provided with the bonded
abrasive product and when they
are required.
6. Ensure that the abrasive product is
correctly mounted and tightened
before use and run the tool at no
load for 30 seconds in a safe
position, stop immediately if there
is considerable vibration or if other
defects are detected. If this
condition occurs, check the
machine to determine the cause.
7. Do not use separate reducing
bushings or adapters to adapt large
hole abrasive wheels to fit tool.
8. Check that the work piece is
properly supported.
9. Ensure that sparks do not create a
hazard e.g. do not hit persons, or
ignite flammable substances.
10. Always use protective safety glasses
and hearing protectors. Use other
personal protective equipment such
as gloves, apron and helmet when
necessary.
11. Grinding wheel must be securely
attached before connecting the
grinder to a power supply. Do not
tighten excessively since this can
cause cracks in the grinding wheel.
12. Grinding wheels must be free of
irregularities and cracks. Before
use, test for normal operation with
grinding wheel facing in a safe
direction away from people or
objects. Irregularities and cracks
can cause a grinding wheel to
shatter resulting in possible serious
injury.
13. Grip the grinder securely with both
hands while grinding.
14. Never place the grinder on the
floor or other surface while it is
running. The wheel continues to
rotate after the tool is switched off.
15. Use this grinder only for approved
applications. Never use coolants or
water or use the tool as a fixed
grinder.
16. Use only approved grinding wheels
and only use the normal grinding
surface. Never use the side or upper
surfaces for cutting.
17. Make sure the tool is only
connected to the voltage marked
on its nameplate.
18. Never use a tool if its cover or any
bolts are missing. If the cover or
bolts have been removed, replace
them prior to use. Maintain all
parts in good working order.
19. Always secure tools when working
at elevated positions.
20. Never start a tool when its rotating
component is in contact with the
work piece.
21. Do not touch the sanding disc of
work piece immediately after
operation.
Assembly
Always remove the
electric cord from the power supply
before changing grinding wheel, brushes,
lubricating or when working in the unit
to avoid possible serous injury.
HOW TO ADJUST THE WHEEL
GUARD
1. Loosen the hexagon screw (Figure 1).
2. Adjust the wheel cover.
3. Tighten the hexagon screw.
INSTALLATION OF GRINDING
WHEEL
To assemble the grinding wheel,
attach the disc flange, the grinding
wheel and the clamp nut to the
spindle shaft. Be sure the disc flange is
properly seated on the spindle shaft.
Next, depress the spindle lock button
located on the top of the gear case.
Use the spanner provided as you
tighten the clamp nut in a clockwise
direction. Check carefully whether
there are cracks in the wheel .Replace
a cracked wheel immediately.
INSTALLATION OF SANDING
DISK
(OPTIONAL ACCESSORY)
To assemble the sanding disc, attach
the collar, the sanding pad, the
sanding disc and clamp nut to the
spindle shaft. Depress the spindle lock
button and tighten the clamp nut in a
clockwise direction with the spanner
provided.
