Important instructions for operation
Safety checks before the start
After a longer interval in operations (after the summer
months) the fuse must be put in position and/or the
heater connected up to the battery. Check that all parts
fit firmly (tighten screws where necessary).
Check the fuel system visually for any leaks.
Refer back to Technical Description and Operating
Instructions for full operation and function of heater.
• Check that the batteries are fully charged.
• Check there is sufficient fuel in the fuel tank.
• Check the power supply for correct polarity.
• Ensure the operating device is set to its highest
setting.
• Now switch on your heater.
Please Note!
Combustion may not be established when the heater is
first operated. Several attempts may be required to start
the heater. This is due to air being present in the heater’s
fuel lines, that needs to be purged by the fuel-metering
pump.
Initial commissioning
The following points are to be checked by the dealer
installing the heater during initial commissioning.
• During the trial run of the heater, check all fuel
connections for leaks and firm fitting.
• Check output air temperature as stated in the
installation manual.
• If the heater shows a fault during operation, find and
eliminate the cause of the fault using a diagnosis unit.
