3.8.4 Charging NI-MH Battery Pack
When the NI-MH battery pack is low in energy, charge the battery pack with the provided
charger.
1) Put the plug of the charger into the charge socket of the Doppler (on the top panel).
2) Connect the charger to a power supply socket (100V-240V~, 50Hz/60Hz). During
charging, a battery sign appears on the LCD with continuous changing energy sign, and
the charging indicator on the Doppler lights up.
3) When the charging indicator goes off, the battery pack is fully charged (approximately 3
~ 4 hours are needed). Remove the charger plug and the Doppler is ready for examining
again.

WARNING
The AC-DC power adapter meets the requirements of Standard IEC60950, and it should
be placed outside the patient environment when it's working (1.5m away from the
patient). The Doppler is not available for examining during charging.
