EYEsurv ESC-Z30 Wiring manual - Camera
Baud Rate:
The baud rate is the communication language speed that the
DVR/Controller uses to communicate with the camera. In our camera example
we used 2400. This camera also supports 4800 and 9600 baud rate as well.
Whatever Baud rate you choose on the camera, be sure that it is exactly matched
on your DVR or PTZ controller.
Basic Remote Controlling of the camera:
After you get the Protocol, Baud Rate,
and Cam ID all matched up between your camera and DVR/PTZ controller you are
ready to start controlling your camera from the DVR or PTZ controller. This is as
easy as opening up the PTZ controls on your DVR and simply selecting the zoom in
and out and focus icons. If it's a PTZ controller, simply push the zoom and focus
buttons.
Please note that the menu cannot be called up remotely from the DVR
or PTZ controller so please ensure that you have your desired settings upon
installation.
Controlling the camera directly from the
camera
Introduction:
Now that you have your camera connected properly, you can also
control it from the back of the camera. This is good for testing and configuration
purposes.
