Adjusting exhaust valve

Insert crank handle (1) into the starting handle support
bearing and slowly turn the crankshaft clockwise until the inlet
valve's spring is pushed down completely (inlet valve is now
fully open).

Slide a feeler gauge (5) with thickness 0.1 mm between
rocker arm (4) and the exhaust valve stem and check the
valve clearance of the exhaust valve.
The feeler gauge must be able to be pulled through without
noticeable resistance (drag).

If the clearance is too large or too small, undo the lock nut (6)
and adjust the clearance with the adjusting screw (7). The
feeler gauge must be able to be pulled through without
noticeable resistance (drag).
8.
Hold the adjusting screw in place with a screwdriver and
tighten the lock nut.
9.
Check the valve clearance again.
