7. Troubleshooting
DANGER ! Electric shock !

V Disconnect the mains plug of the pump before
carrying out maintenance work !
1. Remove the pump from the filter housing (see 6. Maintenance).
2. Turn the pump housing

anticlockwise and pull it vertically
off the motor housing

(Bayonet fastening).
3. Pull the impeller
F
out of the motor housing
E
and clean it.
4. Push the cleaned impeller
F
back into the motor housing
E
.
5. Press the pump housing
D
vertically on to the motor housing
E
and turn it clockwise. (Bayonet fastening).
6. Reassemble the pump into the filter housing (see
6. Maintenance).
Fault
Possible cause
Remedy
No water feature operating
Mains plug not plugged in.
v Plug in mains plug.
Regulating valves are closed.
v Open regulating valves.
Water bell or fleur-de-lis screwed v Unscrew water bell or fleur-
too far into the nozzle tube.

Impeller unit is blocked.
v Clean pump.
Reduced water feature
Water feature insert is dirty.
v Clean water feature insert
and nozzle pipe.
Filter housing / filter bowls dirty.
v Clean filter housing / filter
bowls.
Pump shuts down after
Water temperature too high.
v Maximum water
a short time
temperature is 35 °C.

Repairs should only be carried out by GARDENA service centres or dealers
authorised by GARDENA.
