Sending an Emergency
alert
CaUTion
Once initiated, the location of the
emergency alert is not updated. Do
not move around after you send the
call. If you must move, cancel the call,
and initiate a new one with your new
location.
In case of an emergency, you can send
your location to radio users in the area
who are using your current channel.
Responders can then navigate to the
emergency location.
1. Hold for 3 seconds.
2. Select Yes.
The emergency alert is broadcast once
every 30 seconds, until you cancel the
call or someone responds.

1. When you receive an emergency
alert, select Help to respond.
The map page opens with the route
to the emergency alert location
marked with a magenta line.
2. Navigate using the map (
As you navigate to the caller, your
position updates are sent.
3. Push Ptt to communicate with the
caller.
