The appliance must be properly grounded to prevent electric hazards. Never connect the
appliance to a gas pipe, water plumbing, lightning rods or telephone lines.
A circuit breaker must be installed in the power supply system.
Tests must be carried out after installation for electricity leakage.
Carefully read the instructions in the operation manual before installation.
Instructions before which either* WARNING*or* CAUTION*is shown implies a
potentially hazardous situation*which, if not avoided, could result in serious injury or death.
After completion of installation, trial operation should be conducted ensuring that the appliance
operates properly. Authorized installation staff should briefly explain correct routine operation
and maintenance methods and transfer this installation and operation manual to the owner.
Installation must be carried out by authorized after-sales service agent of the manufacturer.
Installation must be carried out in accordance with the requirements in this installation manual.
The air conditioner should be properly installed on a strong and firmly mounted metal support.
Measures should be taken to prevent accidents or injuries caused by typhoons or earthquakes.
Terminals will be firmly fixed and connected ensuring that electric cables cannot be accidentally
detached.
Wiring cables will be properly arranged and connected, ensuring there in no entrapment from the
cabinet case or exterior sheet.
When the air conditioner is relocated, make sure that air or foreign articles are prevented from
entering the refrigerant (R407C) as excessive pressure might be generated, resulting in injuries
or damage to the cooling circulation system.
Components and parts provided or approved by the manufacturer will be used for installation.
Do not place the drainage ducts directly into an outlet used for sulphurous or toxic gas, which
could enter into the room along the drainage duct.
After completion of installation, verify that there is no refrigerant leak, which may turn into
toxic gas when it is heated by a radiator or stove.
Do not install the air conditioner close to an inflammable gas source.
Drainage duct should be arranged and installed in accordance with the instructions in the operat-
ion manual and measures should be taken for insulation and condensate prevention.

Immediate measures should be taken for ventilation during installation if refrigerant leaks, as
refrigerant may generate hazardous gas if burnt.
Gaseous and liquid ducts for refrigerant should be insulated for temperature preservation and con-
densate water drop prevention.
