Z-Star™ Manual Juicer and Manual Drive Z-Star™
Instructions for
Assembly and Use
4. Turn the Hand Crank (3) clockwise. While doing so, push the food in further, only using the Plun-
ger (11) to do so. Never reach into the Outlet or Feeding Chute while cranking. Soft food to be
juiced can get clogged. If this happens, insert harder food (i.e. a carrot) into the Chute.
5. The pressed juice runs out of the Juice Outlet on the bottom of the Housing (6) into the Juice
Container (13) positioned under it. The pulp from your food is pushed out of the Pulp Discharge
Outlet (9+10).
Disassembly of the Z-Star™ after use
1. Remove the green Feeding Chute (5) and the Hand Crank (3).
2. Hold onto the Base (6) with one hand and loosen the green Auger Housing Retaining Ring (4)
with the other hand by turning it once clockwise. Now you can remove the complete Housing (6)
from the Base (1).
3. Loosen the green Screen Locking Cap (10) by turning it once clockwise; push out the Screen (8)
and the Auger (7) out by pressing on the shaft.
4. To loosen the Base (1), turn the wing screw on the Table Clamp (2) clockwise. If desired, you can
also leave the Base (1) attached where it is for later use.
Meticulously clean individual parts of the Z-Star™ after every use
1. It is important to ensure that all individual parts of the Z-Star™ Manual Juicer are meticulously
cleaned after every use (Cleaning Brush (12) included in delivery). Residue that is not removed
can dry and clog the holes in the Screen, thus impairing the function of the Z-Star.
2. Use tepid water and a mild detergent. Never use hot water or sharp or aggressive cleaning solu-
tions, as they might damage individual parts.
3. To remove stains (i.e. from carrots), soak the parts that need to be cleaned in a white wine vine-
gar solution (ratio: 70 % white wine vinegar to 30 % water).
