Mounting Computer
Step 1:Obtainthe#2Phillipsscrewdriverandremovethecomputermountingscrewfromthehandlebartube.
Step 2:Coilthecomputercableintothecomputermountcavity.
Step 3:Slidethecomputerupintothetwolockingears.InsertandsecurethescrewyouremovedinStep1usingthe#2
Phillipsscrewdriver.
Calibrating the Computer
To calibrate the computer:
Theshifterlevermustbeinthedownposition.Holdingapedal,rotatethecrankarminanydirectiontoswitchthe
computeron.Oncethecomputerison,stoprotatingthecrankarm.Movetheshifterleverfromfullbottomtofulltopa
minimum of five times. When you see the computer display a set of number fives (55:55) in the time display, the computer
iscalibrated.
1.Cycledisplaymustbeblank.Ifthedisplayisnotblankwaitabout50secondsuntilitisblank.
2.Activatethedisplaybyrotatingthecrankpedal.Assoonasitisactivestopthecrankmovement.
3. Move the shifter from full retract (lowest resistance) to full advanced (highest resistance) at least five times. These five
retractions must be done within five seconds.
4.Computerwillindicateitiscalibratedbyshowing“55:55”.Ifyoudonotseethe“55:55”startoverfromstep#1.
5.Retractshifter(lowestresistance)andcomputershouldshowgear“1”.Advanceshifter(increaseresistance)and
computershouldshowgearschanging“1”through“24”.
6. Continue beyond gear “24” and “88” will flash. This is the emergency brake area, where the end of the shifter is about
1” to 1 ¼” off the top of the handlebar. If you do not see the flashing “88” start over from step # 1.
