WARNING: Incorrect battery cable routing could
cause damage to the mower and battery cables. This
can cause sparks which can cause a battery gas explosion
which will result in serious personal injury.
WARNING: Always disconnect battery cables by pulling out on
LARGE RED
battery quick disconnect handle when transporting unit.
Battery Connectors
The battery connectors are located under the battery cover.
Always disconnect battery cables by pulling out on

Battery Charger
Battery can be charged on the mower OR after being removed from mower mounting bracket.
Use only the battery charger provided with the Mean Green Mower.
Charger options vary for the Mean Green Mower. Certain models are equipped with
an on and off switch and others turn on automatically when plugged into outlet. NOTE: Always
plug BLACK charger plug into BLACK mower charger plug (fig.5A) and
THEN plug battery charger into 110-120 volt household GFCI protected outlet.

Battery Maintenance (See Detailed Lithium Module Maintenance page at the end of

Your Mean Green Mower is powered by 1 Lithium Module (LEM) which,
when maintained properly, will provide years of useful
life. For proper care, adhere to the following instructions:
1. Always charge batteries after each use, regardless of how
little used. Batteries must be attached to a plugged in
battery charger with the charger power switch ON when the unit is not being used.
WARNING: Charge only with a Mean Green Mower approved
charger. Do not use battery chargers other than those
recommended by Mean Green Products. Incorrect
battery charging will void warranty and can lead to
equipment damage, serious injury or death.
