Addendum
Your new Power Plant has the Plus version of MultiWave II installed. The Plus version of MultiWave II has two new ad-
ditions to the Power Plant’s robust feature set: Clean Sweep and Fine Tune.
Clean Sweep is a revolutionary new process that cleans the power supplies and power cables of everything connected
to a Power Plant. By varying the amplitude of each individual sinewave many times per cycle, during the Clean Sweep
period, connected equipment is effectively degaussed or demagnetized. The amplitude variances appear as little ampli-
tude “bubbles” on the waveform and help keep the system clean and great sounding.
We recommend cleaning the system before each listen.
Fine Tune adds a whole new dimension in precise turntable speed control. Using our precision sinewaves, Fine Tune
permits adjustment of the frequency to as little as 0.0625Hz or 1/16th of a Hz (on P500 and P1000 and 1/8th Hz on the
P300). Using a strobe on the turntable and the Power Plant as the speed control, many turntables can now be set with
ultimate precision with the new Fine Tune feature of the Power Plant.
Clean Sweep
We recommend running this feature before every serious listening session. There is a 60 second Clean Sweep mode,
which is to be used for initial cleaning before listening. There is also a Quick Sweep mode that will clean for 5 seconds
and is designed for use as a touch up cleaning action when needed.
