RAINSMART RainSmart User Manual - page 12
The LED lights are provided to inform you the status of your water usage and they include:
Power
: When the light is illuminated there is power to the
RainSmart
TM
controller. In the case power
is lost, the Motorised Ball Valve will open to ensure you have at least mains water available to be used
for your amenities.
Mains Water / Low Tank
: Signifies mains water being used to supply the amenities. This is the result
of a low water level sensed by the Float Switch. The Motorised Ball Valve will be in the open position.
Rain Water
: Signifies rain water being used to supply the amenities. This is the result of an acceptable
water level sensed by the Float Switch. The Motorised Ball Valve will be in the closed position.
Pump Auto
: Signifies the pump being controlled by the Float Switch. The pumps power supply will be
cut when the float is in a low level condition.
Pump Manual
: Signifies the pump not being controlled by the Float Switch. The pump always has
power regardless of the Float Switch position.
Note: The Motorised Ball Valve will behave normally regardless of the Auto Manual selection.
Note:
Most pumps have loss of prime switches fitted which turn the pump off when the water gets too low. If
the pump loses prime, refer to the pump manufacturer’s manual to reset it. Selecting Pump Manual on the
RainSmart
TM
provides the end user with the freedom of using all the tank water.
