protocol corresponds to the M-Bus protocol, and
the meter can be read out via a MiniReader or
using DOKOM Mobile.
8.3 M-Bus plug-in module acc. to EN 13757-3
Order number: 68504020
This plug-in module allows a readout of the meter
via its primary or secondary address with an M-
Bus level converter (300 and 2400 Baud,
automatic recognition). Both addresses can be set
in the parameter menu (see chapter 5.6) or with
the service software MiniCom. (General
information: The factory presetting of the
secondary address and the customer number
corresponds to the serial number shown on the
meter casing.) The primary address can be set to
between 0 and 250, and is preset in the factory to
0. Polarity of the two connection terminals (24 and
25) can be neglected.
8.4 Remote pulse plug-in module
Order number: 68503920
Remote pulse plug-in module for output of heat
quantity and volume pulses (for mains-operated
instruments only)

8.5 M-Bus plug-in module with two contact
inputs
Order number: 68504686
In addition to the plug-in unit specified in chapter
8.3 there is the possibility to connect two external
consumption meters (cold water, electricity, gas,
others) with passive remote reading contact (reed
switch or open collector).
Specification of the contact inputs:
Required closing time: :
> 62.5 ms
Input frequency:
Terminal voltage:
3 V
The required parameters for
meter
type
physical unit and pulse value
serial
number
initial meter reading
can be set on site via the service software
MiniCom.
8.6 USB plug-in unit (for M-Bus slot)
Order number: 68504688
With this plugin unit the integrator can be
connected to a PC / notebook or handheld
computer with USB input. In case there is an M-
Bus plugin unit installed, this unit has to be
removed first. For the connection you need a
driver, which will be delivered on CD together with
the card. A description how to install the driver is
also available.
8.7 USB plug-in with 2 inputs for external
consumption meters
Order number: 68504902
Join this unit can plug an additional 2 meters with
pulse output and can be connected (see point 8.5)
Both contact inputs preset in the factory to:
-
input 1: cold water meter, pulse valency
10 litres, initial meter reading 0.00 m³
-
input 2: warm water meter, pulse valency
10 litres, initial meter reading: 0.00 m³
The activation of the inputs has to be done via the
service software MiniCom 3, menu item: „set
pulse input parameters“. The meter IDs of the
pulse meters have to be set there as well as the
primary M-Bus addresses if necessary; check
“counter 1 (2) visible on the M-Bus”.
Starting
meter reading and pulse value can also be
adapted. Afterwards the pulse meters are
available as independent M-Bus meters on M-
Bus. The consumption of the pulse meters is not
transferred in the M-Bus protocol of the heat
meters.
8.8 LONWORKS
®
-FTT10A plug-in module
Order number: 68504857
This plug-in module is used to implement the
meter via LONTALK
®
protocol into a building
automation system. For detailed informations
please refer to data sheet LH 6130 INT.
8.9. Inserting the plug into the heat meter
In each processing unit is a slot for the M-Bus
Module (right rear) and the remote pulse-module
(left front). The computational work for the
modules may only be permitted in the designated
slots mounted.
