guidance from a white plastic plug.
The pins must not be bent and slide easily into the
appropriate contact sockets. The power cable

of the supplied cable tie strain relief. The veins at
the corresponding connecting terminals and the
rubber molding back.
8.10 Optional integrated data logger
If this option is incorporated, the casing lid is
additionally labeled with the word „Data Logger“.
The integrated data logger stores consumption
values and instantaneous values (heating resp.
cooling power, flow rate, temperatures) during a
selectable time interval ( 3 to 1440 minutes). The
logger data can be read out via the optical
interface, M-Bus or Mini-Bus with the service
software MiniCom. The time interval (preset in
factory to 60 minutes) can also be changed with
MiniCom.
For PC connection use either an optical data
coupler (see chapter 8.1) or a USB plug-in module
(order number: 68504688).
8.11 Combined heating / cooling meter
Descriptive name: PolluStat E H or PolluStat EX H
This PolluStat E version switches over at an
automatic switch-over point between metering
heating and cooling energy. The switch-over point
to cooling energy is preset in the factory to:
supply flow temperature and
negative temperature difference > - 0.15 K
Conditions to switch back to heat metering:
supply flow temperature > 25 °C and
positive temperature difference > 0.15 K
If required this switch-over point can be changed
on site with the service software MiniCom.
9. Attachment
9.1 Disassembly and assembly of plastic half
shells for sizes DN 50 to 100
Depending on the installation conditions it may be
necessary to remove the two plastic half shells
from the flow sensor in order to mount the flange
screws.
Disassembly
Removal of user seal (see fig. 12)
Unfastening the 4 cross slot screws (see fig.
12)
Removal of upper half shell
Removal of lower half shell – at this please
remove the cable with the preshaped rubber
part carefully (see fig. 13)
Fig. 12
Afterwards the flange screws can be put through
the corresponding holes of the flanges.
Assembly
Attaching of the upper half shell – at this the
position pin at the inner side of the half shell
must gear into the hole of the mounting
bracket (see fig. 13)
Inserting the preshaped rupper part in the
lower half shell
Connection of lower and upper half shell with
4 cross slot screws
Sealing of the half shells with user seal (see
fig. 12)
