4. Now, p l a c e the "Part A" Template on the front outside surface of the c a b i
net, keeping Line "A" a s the bottom, and a l i g n the points "B" with the 1/16"
holes d r i l l e d through the c a b i n e t ' s p a n e l . W i t h the Template in this p o s i t i o n ,
mark the four c o r n e r s , points " C " , on the front panel of the c a b i n e t with a
pointed instrument. Remove the Template and with a straight edge connect
the corner p o i n t s . (It i s through this rectangular area that the tuner w i l l be
positioned in the c a b i n e t . ) Saw out the rectangular o p e n i n g . The sawing should
be done carefully from the front of the c a b i n e t to a v o i d c h i p p i n g or marring the
cabinet's finish around the o p e n i n g . When properly c o m p l e t e d , the bottom
edge of the rectangular panel opening should be flush with the top of the-Sup
porting s h e l f .

5. Place the "Part B" Template i n s i d e the c a b i n e t . It should H e flat on the
supporting s h e l f . The notches " D " , which were cut out of the T e m p l a t e , will
permit the Line "A" edge to be p l a c e d into the rectangular cutout of the c a b i
net's p a n e l . The Line "A" edge s h o u l d be p o s i t i o n e d flush with the bottom
front surface edge (the outside edge) of the c a b i n e t ' s c u t o u t .
6. W i t h the Template In this p o s i t i o n , use a pointed instrument to mark the
surface of the c a b i n e t ' s shelf through the four points " E " of the T e m p l a t e . Re
move the Template and d r i l l 1/4" v e r t i c a l holes Into the shelf of the cabinet
at the four " E " point m a r k s . These h o l e s w i l l be used to anchor the tuner to
the s h e l f .
7. Again p l a c e the "Part B" Template into the c a b i n e t as per step 5. W i t h a
pointed instrument, mark the corners of the two rectangular ventilation h o l e s ,
indicated on the Template, onto the s h e l f of the c a b i n e t . Remove the Template
and with a straight edge connect the corner points of each of the two v e n t i l a
tion h o l e s . Then saw out the two v e n t i l a t i o n holes from the s h e l f . These
holes w i l l permit a i r c i r c u l a t i o n and prevent heat b u i l d - u p .
8. Remove the four feet from the tuner by unscrewing them. The feet are not
used in a cabinet i n s t a l l a t i o n . Insert the tuner through the front of the r e c
tangular panel opening of the c a b i n e t . T o anchor the tuner to the shelf use
the four # f l X 32 P h i l l i p s head screw bolts and the four # § ) flat washers and
the four # 8 » lock washers s u p p l i e d in the spare parts p o u c h . Anchor the tuner
to the cabinet by p a s s i n g the bolts up through the " E " h o l e s and screwing them
Into the f e e t - h o l e s of the tuner. The l o c k washers should be sandwiched b e
tween the heads of the screw bolts a n d the flat w a s h e r s . When the bolts are
tightened, the flat washers should be p r e s s i n g up against the bottom of the
c a b i n e t ' s supporting shelf. N O T E : T h e b o l t s should not penetrate the tuner
more than 1/2" (length of bolt s h o u l d not e x c e e d t h i c k n e s s of shelf p l u s 1/2").
