In this section we will look at how the TBT Navigation feature
functions behaves in collaboration with the other features of
the CONNECTNEXT® infotainment system.
When a media source or radio is played
You can initiate the navigation to a destination and then play
a media source or radio. The navigation will be continued in
the background. When navigation prompts are generated i.e.
indicators of turnings and so on, the visual prompts are
displayed as a separate screen. The system pauses the
currently played media source/radio station and plays the
navigation audio prompts.
NOTE:
For some smartphones, the system
reduces the volume of the BT media
source and plays the navigation prompts.
This feature is dependent on your
smartphone capabilities.
When an incoming call is received
During an active navigation mode, if you receive an incoming
call, the system displays the call details are displayed as a
separate screen. You can either accept or drop the call. If
accepted, the navigation visual prompts are disabled till the
call is completed.
When reversing the vehicle
During an active navigation mode, if you engage the Reverse
gear, the system displays the Park Assist screen and disables
the audio and visual navigation prompts. Once the Reverse
gear is disengaged, the Navigation audio and visual prompts
will be enabled.
