If you are getting weak or no GPS signal, ensure that
you place your phone in a location of vehicle where it
is safe and visible to sky and check for the better GPS
reception availability.
12. Navigation audio prompts are not audible enough.
What should I do to increase the volume level?
First try to increase the volume level from your
smartphone. if it is still not sufficient then, when the
TBT Navigation function is working, Press the
button-> select the Setup submenu option-
> and select the Voice Prompt Volume field. You can
adjust the setting accordingly.
13. I installed ConnectNext App and NaviMaps in my
smartphone will the TBT Navigation feature work in
my TATA vehicle?
Yes. However, the smartphone will be connected
using Bluetooth only. The TBT feature will not work if
the smartphone is connected via the USB cable.
14. Will navigation in my TATA vehicle work with any
smartphone?
No. The TBT Navigation feature of the infotainment
system is supported only on some smartphones i.e.
only on smartphones that have Android 4.0 ICS and
above. Please check with the dealer for details on the
compatible list.
15. Can I play audio from my smartphone when
connected through the USB port?
This behavior might vary based on the smartphone
that you are using i.e. if your smartphone supports the
Mass Storage Class mode. Additionally, you have to
enable your smartphone in the Mass Storage Class
mode, immediately after connecting to the Vehicle
USB port.
16. In Bluetooth Music, the song/metadata
Information displayed on the Phone and
infotainment system does not come/match
The music player running on the handset (phone) may
not have the capability to send the details about the
song to the Head Unit (infotainment system) OR the
song downloaded to the handset does not have the
details of the artist, album and other information set
in the song properties. This may cause the Head Unit
to show the song information as Unknown or it may
show information of the Next or Previous song in the
list. This condition may be recovered by pressing
Information (i) or playing/pausing the song on the
Head Unit.
