GETTING TO KNOW YOUR BABY MONITOR 

Parent unit 

From the Parent unit you can listen to your baby and operate the 

Baby unit by remote control. 

Display

Power saving backlight 

switches off 15 seconds 

after last button push.

Talk (on side of unit)

Press to talk to your baby.

Up

Increase speaker volume.

Scroll up through menu options.

Menu

Press to open the menu.

Press and hold to exit the menu.

Mute

Press to switch the speaker off,

press again to switch it back on.

Down/Default

Decrease speaker volume.

Scroll down through menu options.

Used to restore original settings.

LED Link indicator

Green On  

  – Linked to Baby unit.

Green flashing  – Not linked to Baby unit

  – first 30 seconds.

Red Flashing 

– Not linked to Baby unit

   for longer than 30 seconds.

Sensitivity / Volume level LEDs

During use, lights indicate:

- Sensitivity level

- Volume level

Torch (on side of unit)

Press and hold to switch on.

Press to switch off.

Select

Press to confirm the menu

option displayed.

When lullaby is playing, press 

to pause or resume.

Power on/off

Press and hold to switch the 

power on or off.

Microphone

However, the features on your WMA440

Baby Monitor have been designed to

work normally at any temperature

between 0

o

C and 40

o

C. 

WARNING!

Use only the mains power adapter

supplied. Using an incorrect adapter

may permanently damage your WMA440

Baby Monitor.

The Baby unit will only work from the

batteries if the mains power is off or

disconnected.

Battery performance – Baby unit

The recommended batteries are 4 x AA

Alkaline. Not included.

With new batteries, your Baby unit will

give up to 14 hours continuous 

performance with the night lights

switched off. This will be less if the

lights are switched on.

When the Baby unit is not being used

and is disconnected from the mains

power, you should ensure you remove

the batteries. This will prevent the

batteries discharging.

Battery low warning – Baby unit

When the batteries are low –

approximately within 30 minutes of

running out – the Baby unit the 

icon will come on. However, this will

depend on the type of batteries used.
