7 Click Apply.
To delete one or more clients from the 802.1X Exception List:
1 On the 802.1X Exception List page, select the check box for the client or
clients that you want to delete.
2 Click Delete.
3 Click Apply.
Adding a New MAC
Address to the 802.1X
Exception List
Use the New MAC page to add a client to the 802.1X Exception List.
1 In MAC address, type the MAC address of the client you want to add to
the 802.1X Exception List.
2 Click Add.
3 To add another client, repeat steps 3 and 4 in “Using the 802.1X
Exception List” startin on page 42.
4 When finished, click Apply on the 802.1X Exception List page.
Changing SNMP
Settings
Under System Configuration, click SNMP to display and change settings
for the Simple Network Management Protocol.
To communicate with the Bridge, the SNMP agent must first be enabled
and the Network Management Station must submit a valid community
string for authentication. Select SNMP Enable and enter data into the
fields as described below. When you are finished, click Apply.

Specifies a community string with read-write access.
Authorized management stations are able to both retrieve
and modify MIB objects. Maximum length: 23 characters.
