4.5 Adding a Scene
A scene is a series of remote button sequences. For example, you
may use a scene to turn on a pair of remote controlled power points
connected to a coffee machine and a radio in the morning. Scenes
can also be used with the Auto Home and Auto Away features.
1. Tap the ‘+’ on the top right corner of the control screen and select
‘Add scene’.
2. Tap the green ‘+’ button and then select the remote you would like to use.
3. Select the button you wish to add to the sequence, then input a name for the action (for
example, ‘Turn on Coffee Machine’).
4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 to add more remote control buttons to the sequence.
5. You will notice that there is a 0.5 second delay between each remote button. Adjust the default
time between each remote button by tapping the time and scrolling to the desired delay time.
At times a delay may be required to fully ensure the scene is performed, for example turning
a TV on, then waiting while the TV completes initiating before changing the channel to your
desired morning news.
6. Press ‘Save’ to save the scene.
