4.6 Adding a Device
More than one IR / RF Wi-Fi Controllers can be paired with your smartphone. Given that the

allows you to quickly control IR or RF devices at two different locations. Follow these steps to add
a new device.
1. Tap the ‘+’ on the top right corner and select ‘Add Device’.
2. Ensure the blue LED on the IR / RF Wi-Fi Controller is flashing rapidly at about 5-6 times per
second. Otherwise, press the reset button located next to the power input.
3. Input your network name and password and press ‘Configure’. The smartphone will now search
for available IR / RF Wi-Fi Controllers to link to your network.
4. Once completed, the device is now accessible by swiping left on the home screen.
4.7 Using the timer
Timers allow you to automatically perform a remote control operation at a given time. For
example, automatically turning off all Indoor Remote Controlled Power Points at 1AM to save
energy overnight. You could also use a timer to turn off an Air Conditioner at 3AM on a particularly
warm night.
1. From the control screen, select the remote control you wish to add a timer to.
2. Press the • • • button on the top right corner to access the additional remote settings. Select
‘Timer’
3. Next, configure the desired time and repetition.
4. Press ‘Save’ to save the timer.
4.8 Using Auto Home and Auto Away
The IR / RF Wi-Fi Controller is also able to use the ‘e-control’ app to detect when you are
approaching or leaving home and trigger a scene to be performed. This can be used to
automatically turn off the TV and DVD player as you leave home, and turn on the Air Conditioner
as you approach home. The home and away functions are automatically triggered at
approximately 100m radius from your home.
1. On the home screen, hold down the scene you wish to activate automatically.
2. Select ‘Auto Home’ if the scene is to be activated as you approach home. Select ‘Auto Away’ if
the scene is to be activated as you depart from home.
To deactivate ‘Auto Home’ or ‘Auto Away’, hold down the scene again and select ‘Auto Home’ or
‘Auto Away’ to deactivate the selected function.
