Releasing a cutting filament
that has gone into the
cassette or which has fused:

or if the automatic filament extension still doesn’t work after
pulling the cutting filament

filament cassette

1. Remove the battery.
2. Remove the filament cassette

3. Unwind the cutting filament

, clean the filament cassette

and the cutting filament

and wind the cutting filament

onto
the cassette

once more.
4. Clean the automatic mechanism lever

The automatic lever must move freely.
5. Insert the filament cassette again as described under
7. Maintenance “Replacing the filament cassette”.
Problem

brittle (e. g. over the winter).
vPlace the filament cassette in
lukewarm water for approx.
10 hours.
The trimmer does not start
Battery is flat.
v Charge battery
(see 4. Initial Operation).
Battery not pushed onto the
handle properly.
v Push battery onto the handle
and make sure that the locking
buttons snaps in correctly.
Motor blockage.
v Unblock and restart the
device.
The filament consumes
quickly
Frequent contact between the
filament and hard objects.
v Avoid contact between the
filament and hard objects.
The trimmer stops.
