Using the Menu
How to set the pool and/or spa temperature:
1.
Press the MENU button. Use the FORWARD and BACK buttons to
advance to the SET TEMPMenu and press ENTER. The AquaLink
RS display will read SET POOL TEMP <- ->* .
2.
Use the FORWARD and BACK arrow buttons to choose between
SET POOL TEMP and SET SPA TEMP. If you have a pool only or
spa only, the choice will be between TEMP 1 and TEMP 2. When
the temperature you want to set is displayed, press ENTER.
3.
The AquaLink RS display will show the current thermostat setting.
Use the FORWARD and BACK arrows to move the temperature up
and down. When the temperature you want is displayed, press
ENTER.
How to set the time:
1.
Press the MENU button. Use the FORWARD and BACK buttons
to move to the SET TIME Menu and press ENTER. The
AquaLink RS display will read YEAR 1998 <—>* .
2.
Use the FORWARD and BACK arrow buttons to change the
year. When the correct year is displayed, press ENTER.
3.
Repeat this process for month, day, hour, and minute. When you
are finished, the display will show the correct time and date.
About the Set Temperature Menu:
The SET TEMP
Menu allows you to set the pool or spa thermostat.
This is the temperature that the water will be heated
to when the pool or spa heater button is pressed. The default pool
temperature is 80ºF(26°C). The default spa temperature is
102ºF(38°C).
On pool only and spa only units, you may set two separate
temperatures for the pool or spa. Press the TEMP 1 button to heat
to one temperature and the TEMP 2 button to heat to another.
You can use the SET TEMP Menu
to set these temperatures. The
default for TEMP 1 is 80ºF(26°C). The default for TEMP 2 is
60ºF(15°C). NOTE: TEMP 1 should be set first and must be higher
than TEMP 2.
Note on Solar Temperature: You cannot set the solar
temperature. Solar heating will activate when the solar button is
pressed, the solar temperature is at least 5º higher than the
water temperature, and the water temperature is lower than the
thermostat setting.
About the Set Time Menu:
The SET TIME Menu lets you set the AquaLink RS’s internal clock.
It is important to set the correct time and date so that
programming will work properly.
About the Lockouts Menu:
The LOCKOUTS Menuallows you to “lock out” all changes to:
AquaLink RS programming, use of the Spa Side Switch,
SpaLink RS or an individual device.
When the SYSTEM LOCKOUT feature is activated, it is impossible
to add or cancel programs, change auxiliary labels, change spa-
side switch functions, or change any other adjustable feature on
the AquaLink RS. Use this feature to prevent accidental changes to
preferred settings.
When theSPA SWITCH or SPALINK LOCKOUT feature is
activated, all control from the Spa Side Switch or SpaLink is turned
off.
When a device lockout is selected, it will not activate either
manually or by programming. This feature can be used to prevent a
heater from firing or to stop a fill line from adding water during the
rainy months.
How to enable or disable Lockout
programming or equipment:
1.
Press the MENU button. Use the FORWARD and BACK buttons
to advance to the LOCKOUTS menu and press ENTER. The
AquaLink RS display will read SYSTEM <- ->*.
2.
Use the arrow buttons to toggle between SYSTEM, SPA SWITCH,
SPA LINK, andDEVICE. Press ENTER when the desired option is
displayed.
3.
Use the arrow buttons to disable or enable the lockout of your
choice. Press ENTER when you are done.
