FEATURES AND FUNCTIONS
1. Base Unit
2. On Hook Dial/Headset Button -
Press tc initiate the on-hook
dialling or headset (when headset had been plugged into the
modular jack, it will be changed to headset mode automatically)
operation.
3.ln-use Indicator -
Lights up to indicate the on-hook dialling or
headset mode is in effect or the handset is off-hook.
4.Redial/Pause Button -
Press to redial last number dialled. The
same button can be used to store a 3.6 second pause.
5. Recall Button -
Press to generate a 100-msec hook flash signal,
to access telephone company Network Services or to access
special PABX functlons when connected to a PABX.
6. Over-sized Keyboard -
Provides easy dialling for every one,
including people with sight or dexterity IImitations.
7.Store Button -
Press to initiate and to end telephone number
storing operation.
8. Shift Button -
Press first, followed by a memory button to access
one of the ten two-touch memories. Please refer to operating
instructions.
9. Memory Dialling Buttons -
Press to automatically dial a previously
stored number. press directly to dial the phone number stored in
the one-touch memory location. Press after pressing SHIFT button
to access the number stored in the two-touch memory location.

10. Telephone Directory -
Records the names and phone numbers
stored in memory. Shaded area can be used for two-touch
memories and white area for one-touch memories.

(under handset) - Lift and rotate to the wall
mountlng position, if desired. See installation for wall-mount use.
15. Electronic Tone Ringer and Speaker -
Rings on incoming calls
when ringer switch is set to HI or LO,or becomes an audio speaker
during on-hook dialling operation.
16. Modular Jack (on base) -
For coiled handset cord connection.
17. Modular Jack (on handset) -
For coiled handset cord connection.
18. Holes for Wall Mounting Bracket -
Snap in the separate plastic
wall-mounting bracket here, if required.
19. Battery Compartment -
Batteries are not required.

21. Telephone Line Cord Channel -
Route telephone line cord here
for wall mounting.
22. Modular Jack (on base) -
For telephone line cord connection.
23. Ringer Switch (on the side) -
Sets ringer volume HI. LO, or OFF.
24. Handsfree Dialling Volume Control -
Rotate to obtain optimal
loudness during on-hook dialling mode. This volume control will
also adjust the incoming sound level to the headset when
connected.

26. Message wait Lamp -
Message wait lamp will illuminate when an
inccming call to the tlephone is unanswered. The user can then
call the P /
ABX operator receptionist or call the voicemail system
for any messages. This illumination function will only operate if
the PABX has been fitted with this capability. This lamp may also
act as a ringer light, flashing with an incoming call, when connected
to some PABX and direct lines. Contact your telephone or PABX
supplier for verification of these features.
