Electronic Brake Force
Distribution (EBD) (If
equipped)
Your vehicle is equipped with EBD, which
distributes the brake force between front
and rear wheels while braking under all
vehicle loading conditions.
Typically, the front end carries the more
weight and EBD distributes less braking
pressure to the rear brakes so that the
rear brakes do not lock up and cause a
skid.
For example, under light loads EBD
applies less effort to the rear brakes to
maintain vehicle stability whereas on the
other side it allows full braking effort to the
rear wheels when the vehicle is fully
loaded.
