Appendix C: Cabling section for speaker lines.
The table below reflects the maximum desirable distance for 100V speaker lines. The type of cable that
is used for the calculations is a two-wire type with copper conductors. The values shown may be used as
a guide for planning, being the responsibility of the installer who will make the appropriate final
calculations for each case.
The table shows the output power of typical amplification channels, constant voltage 100V in effective
watts (rms) are expressed. The maximum length for 70V lines is half of what is reflected in the table.
