TROUBLESHOOTING
WARRANTY
Important: DO NOT RETURN PRODUCT TO PLACE OF PURCHASE.
WARRANTY POLICY: This NAPA Professional Air Tool is warranted against defects in material and workmanship
for a period of One (1) Year from the date of original purchase. We will repair or replace, at our option, any part
which proves to be defective in material or workmanship. Repairs or replacements are warranted as described
above for the duration of the original warranty period. This warranty does not apply to products which have
been subjected to abuse, misuse, modification, neglect, lack of maintenance, use in a production-related service,
or repaired by anyone other than an Authorized Master NAPA Professional Air Tool Service Center.

WARRANTY CLAIM PROCEDURE
If your NAPA Professional Air Tool proves defective within its original One (1) Year warranty period, it must be
returned to an Authorized Master NAPA Professional Air Tool Service Center. Customer is responsible for shipping
the tool Freight Pre-Paid along with Proof of Purchase and completed Customer Warranty Repair Form.

bursts.Detachtheairsupply.Turn
theemptyandcloseddrillchuck
byhand.Reconnectairsupply.If
thetool’sperformancedoesnot
improve,itshouldbeservicedby
anauthorizedservicecenter.
TOOL SEIZED. SPINDLE WILL NOT
TURN.Thisconditionisprobably
causedbyabrokenrotorvaneor
jammedorbrokengears.
YOU SHOULD:Havethetool
servicedbyanauthorizedservice
center.
TOOL WILL NOT SHUT OFF.The
throttlevalveo-ringhasprobably
comeunseated.
YOU SHOULD:Replacetheo-ring
(seebreakdown)orhavetool
servicedbyanauthorizedservice
center.
AIR HAMMERS
TOOL WILL NOT RUN.This
conditionisprobablycaused
byacloggedcyclingvalveor
throttlevalve.
YOU SHOULD:Checktheairinlet
forblockages.Pouragenerous
amountofairtooloilintoairinlet.
Operatethetriggerinshortbursts
withthechiselinplaceandagainst
asolidsurface.Detachtheair
supply.Tapthenoseorbarrel
lightlywithaplasticmallet,
reconnecttheairsupply,and
repeatabovesteps.Ifthetoolis
stillseized,inserta6"pieceof1/8"
diameterrodinthenozzleand
lightlytaptoloosenthepistonin
thereardirection.Reconnectair
supplyandrepeatabovesteps.
CHISEL STUCK IN NOZZLE.This
conditionisprobablycausedby
adeformedshank.
YOU SHOULD:Havetoolserviced
byanauthorizedservicecenter.
NOTE: DISASSEMBLY OF THIS
TOOL BY ANY OTHER THAN AN
AUTHORIZED SERVICE CENTER
WILL VOID THE WARRANTY ON
THIS TOOL.
