Z-Domain Synthesizer
(sawtooth or ramp): the signal passes
immediately from a maximum to a
minimum value.
(triangular): starting from a minimum
level, the signal rises to a maximum
value in a given period of time, then
returns to the minimum level in the
same period of time.
(square): the signal assumes two
single values.
(random): the signal assumes random
values.

MODULATING the SOUND with the
[MODULATION] WHEEL (LFO2)
157
LFO2 works in exactly the same way as LFO1, with the sole difference that the amount of
modulation can be adjusted using the [MODULATION] wheel.
The panel section comprises:
•
[RATE]: regulates the frequency of the modulating signal. Turn
the trimmer clockwise to increase the frequency of the signal.
•
[DEPTH]: regulates the maximum modulation depth; this is then
regulated by the [MODULATION] wheel, which sends it to the
various sections.
•
[WAVE SELECT]: specifies the waveform of the modulating
signal. The waveforms are the same as those generated by LFO1.
•
[DEPTH SELECT]: this button allows you to specify the section
on which you are regulating the maximum LFO2 modulation depth
by means of the [DEPTH] trimmer.
