Real-Time Clock Installation Guide
Clock configuration via the LCD Menu
1. Turn the printer ON and wait for it to initialize and go into ONLINE mode.
2. Press the Line Button to go to Offline mode
3. Press the Function Button to display the different menu icons
4. Select the Advanced Mode Menu and press the Enter Button.
5. Scroll to the Set Calendar Menu using the cursor buttons.
6. This menu allows you to set the date and time.
The date is expressed in:
hh:mm YYYYMMMDD.
hh = hour (24 hour format)
mm = minute
MMM = month
DD = day
YYYY = year
7. When completed, go back to ONLINE mode after saving the new settings.
Using SBPL Commands
The date and time can also be set using the
CALENDAR CONFIGURATION COMMAND
FUNCTION
To set the time and date of the printer’s internal clock.
FORMAT
aa = Year (00 to 99)
bb = Month (01 to 12)
cc
= Day (01 to 31)
dd
= Hour (00 to 23)
ee = Minute (00 to 59) Note: place anywhere within the data stream.
EXAMPLE
OUTPUT
There is not a printer output as a result of this command.
NOTES
Once the year increments past “99” it will wrap back to “00”. This command can only be used
once per data stream.
If a print quantity of more than one label per job is used, the same time and date will be on
each label of the entire print job.
