Is the Other Person Hearing an Echo?
䢇
Try decreasing the Treo’s volume to avoid coupling or feedback on the other
person’s end. This applies to both the speakerphone and the built-in earpiece.
䢇
Position the Treo handset closer to your ear to prevent sound leaking back into
the microphone. Keep your hand away from the microphone hole, which is on
the bottom of your Treo on the right of the device.
䢇
If you’re using Speakerphone mode with the device lying on a flat surface, try
turning the Treo “face down” (screen facing the surface).
Are You Hearing Your Own Voice Echo?
Ask the other person to turn down the volume on their device, or to hold their
device closer to their ear.
Is Your Voice Too Quiet on the Other End?
Be sure to hold the bottom of the Treo, or the hands-free microphone, close to
your mouth.
