Troubleshooting
Symptom
Remedy
‘Gatekeeper
registering failed’
appears.
• Check ‘Network Check’ in Configuration-
Network. Check your Gatekeeper address, ID,
and E.164 settings.
• Contact your VoIP service provider.
There is a few
seconds delay before
system responds after
selecting an icon or
pressing a button.
This happens when your phone cannot connect
to your Gatekeeper and attempts to reconnect.
Check your Gatekeeper settings or set to ‘No
Use’.
I can hear the dial
tone but I can’t make
calls.
Check ‘Network Check’ in Configuration-
Network.
The clock is showing
the wrong time.
Apply your clock settings again to recalibrate
your time.
I am behind a firewall
and I can’t make calls.
Try opening the following firewall ports:
TCP: 1720, 5050
UDP: 1719, 1024, 5000~5003
Contact your network administrator.
