1 Description
For installation in open and closed systems with ad-
vance temperatures of up to 110º C and maximum total
permitted excess pressure of 5.5 bar.
Boiler sections are installed upright and adjacent to each
other, and attached to the boiler block by means of
nipples.
The boiler is constructed following the three-way flue
principle, with combustion chamber and flue gasways
water cooled on all sides. This leads to better flame cool-
ing and therefore to lower NCx values. Optimum post-
connected heating surfaces ensure the best possible
heat transmission and the maximum use of flue heat.
The burner door can be swung open by loosening two
nuts, permitting access to all heat surfaces for cleaning
purposes. The burner door is equipped with an inspec-
tion hole and is left- or right-handed.
With a combustion chamber and heat surfaces config-
ured according to the purpose served, a high level of
fuel-burning efficiency is achieved and legal limits re-
garding efficiency and energy-saving are more than met.
The construction and operation of Rapido cast heating
boilers both comply with the requirements of DIN 4702.
They are inspected for heat operation and carry the cor-
responding type-approval mark on the identification
plate.
2 Regulations
When installing and setting up the system, observe the
regulations relating to construction, industry, emissions,
and water quality:
TRD 702, 411, 412
Hot water systems with permitted advance tempera-
ture of up to 110º C
DIN 4701
Heating systems, regulation regarding the heat re-
quirements of buildings.
DIN 4702
Heating boilers
DIN 4751 parts 1+2
Safety equipment for hot water heating systems with
advance temperatures of up to 110º C.
DIN 4755
Oil-fired heating units
DIN 4787
Oil atomising burners
DIN 4756
Gas-fired heating units
DIN 4788
Gas-jet burners
DIN 3440
Temperature regulation and limiting devices for heat-
producing systems.
DIN 1988
Drinking water mains on private land, technical condi-
tions for construction and use.

regulations,
boiler room guidelines or local regulations (FeuVo)
HeizAnIV
heating systems regulation
HeizBetrV
heating systems regulations and requirements and
rules of building inspection authorities or possibly in-
dustrial control department. Measures relating to
boiler room ventilation and exhaust are to be agreed
with the local building inspection authorities, usually
via the body regulating the activity of industrial chim-
ney sweeps.
