willresultinparalleloperationandACpowerfromtheutility/generatorwill
befedbackintotheinverterwhichwillinstantlydamagetheoutputsection
of the inverter and may also pose a fire and safety hazard. If an electrical
breakerpanel/loadcenterisbeingfedfromtheutilitypower/generator
andtheinverterisrequiredtofeedthispanelasbackuppowersource,the
ACpowerfromtheutilitypower/generatorandtheinvertershouldfirstbe
fedtoamanualselectorswitch/AutomaticTransferSwitchandtheoutput
ofthemanualselectorswitch/AutomaticTransferSwitchshouldbecon-
nectedtotheelectricalbreakerpanel/loadcenter.
2.Topreventpossibilityofparallelingandseveredamagetotheinverter,never
useasimplejumpercablewithamaleplugonbothendstoconnecttheAC
output of the inverter to a handy wall receptacle in the home / rV.

typeCEE7/4usedinGermany,Australia,theNetherlands,Sweden,Norwayandfinland.
Thistypeisalsoknownas"Schuko"receptacle(5infigs.6.1,6.2and6.3).Acorrespond-
ingClass1grounded“Schuko”plugTypeCEE7/7isrequiredonthepowercordfeeding
theACdevicestobeconnectedtotheinverter.Theconstructionofthe“Schuko”recep-
tacle and plug is shown at fig. 8.4 below.
