Reverse Polarity at the Dc input terminals
ThePositiveofthebatteryshouldbeconnectedtothePositiveDCinputterminalof
theinverter(9)andtheNegativeofthebatteryshouldbeconnectedtotheNegative
DCinputterminaloftheinverter(8).Areversalofpolarity(thePositiveofthebattery
wronglyconnectedtotheNegativeDCinputterminaloftheinverterandtheNegative
ofthebatterywronglyconnectedtothePositiveDCinputterminaloftheinverter)will
blowtheexternal/internalDCsidefuses.IftheDCsidefuseisblown,theinverterwill
be dead. The GREENLEDmarked“PoWER”(2)willbeswitchedoffandtherewillbeno
ACoutput.

ReversepolarityconnectionislikelytodamagetheDCinputcircuitry.The
internalfuse(s)shouldbereplacedwiththecorrectsizeoffuseshownunder
specifications.Iftheunitdoesnotworkafterreplacingthefuse(s),ithasbeen
permanently damaged and will require repair / replacement (Please read Sec-
tion 11 - “Troubleshooting Guide” for more details).

Damagecausedbyreversepolarityisnotcoveredbywarranty!Whenmaking
batteryconnectionsontheinputside,makesurethatthepolarityofbattery
connectionsiscorrect(ConnectthePositiveofthebatterytothePositivetermi-
naloftheunitandtheNegativeofthebatterytotheNegativeterminalofthe
unit).Iftheinputisconnectedinreversepolarity,DCfuse(s)insidetheinverter
will blow and may also cause permanent damage to the inverter.
