o)
1. Locate the 2 short wing dowels, the 2 long wing
dowels, the glue, and the sticker sheet. You will also
need a knife and a ruler.
o)
2. From the right side of the sticker sheet, cut 2
strips. (Remember to save room beacuse you have to
cut 4 strips total-see step 3.) Cut them out completely
from the sheet. Do not remove the backing. Make each
strip 180mm long and 20mm wide.
o)
3. Next cut two more strips. Make each strip 110mm
long and 20mm wide.
o)
4. Notice two of the wing dowels are short and two
are long. The long dowels are positioned on the leading
edge of the wing. The short dowels are positioned at
the wing’s trailing edge. When positioned properly, they
should fit into the factory cut slot on the wing and pro-
trude from the wing about 15mm.
o)
5. Glue one leading edge dowel in place. Wrap one
strip of the 180mm long tape around the dowel so that
it sticks to both the upper and lower wing surface.
o)
6. Complete this same step for each dowel. The rear
dowels use the shorted pieces of tape.
Radio Installation
o)
1. Slide the motor onto the fuselage stick. It should
be a tight fit. Remove the nut and the washer from the
gear shaft. Install the propeller onto the shaft. Align the
slots in the back of the propeller with the tabs on the
shaft.
NOTE: it is very im-
portant that the pro-
peller is installed
facing forward. The
writing is on the
propeller ’s front
side.
o)
2. Use your ruler to position the parts as shown in
Photo 13. Later, it may be necessary to change these
positions slightly so do NOT glue them in place.
o)
3. Set the Receiver mount
onto the fuselage. Test position
the speed control and receiver.
Be sure to plug in your servos
too. Move the receiver until the
servo and speed control plugs
reach.
o)
4. Mount the receiver to the
mount with the pro-
vided 2 sided foam
mounting tape. Mount
the speed control as
well.
Note: Do NOT ad-
here the receiver mount to the fuselage stick yet. It
may be required to slide it on the fuselage later.
o)
5. Attach two rubber
bands onto the battery
mount. Then install the
battery.
o)
6. Turn on the radio and check the servo movement
and servo arm position. The elevator servo (the lower
servo on the plane’s left) should move clockwise when
you pull back on the stick. The Rudder servo should move
clockwise when you move the transmitter stick to the
left. Set the servo arms to the vertical position as shown
in photo 7 on page 4
