Instructions (Cont.)
Turntable (Phono) Operation
Important! Before using the turntable:
• Make sure to remove the stylus protector, as
illustrated on the right. It should easily slide off
the stylus assembly.
• Make sure to detach the tone arm from the
tone arm rest before use and secure it again
afterwards.
• Press the FUNCTION button on the front panel repeatedly, or the PHONO
button on the remote control, to select PHONO mode.
• Set the RPM SPEED selector to the appropriate position (33 or 45),
depending on the type of record to be played.
• Place the record on the platter (use the spindle adaptor, if required).
• Lift the tone arm off the rest and slowly move it to
the record side, as illustrated on the right. The platter
will start rotating.
• Carefully place the tone arm to the desired position
on the record.
• Press the VOLUME UP/DOWN button to adjust to
your desired volume level.
• At the end of the record, the platter will automatically stop rotating.
Lift the tone arm from the record and return it to the rest position.
• To stop playback before the end of the record, lift the tone arm from the
record and return it to the rest.
NOTE: Some records may stop playback before the end of the last track. If
this happens, set the AUTO STOP switch to the “Off” position so the
record will play to the end. However, with the switch in this position
the record will not stop automatically. To stop the turntable rotating,
press the POWER ON/STANDBY button to switch off the unit or
switch the AUTO STOP button back to “On”. Then return the tone arm
to the rest position.
