Combine EasyStart R radio remote control
with EasyStart T timer
Install timer
Install the timer in a suitable place on the dashboard
within the driver‘s line of vision and connect according to
the sketch and circuit diagrams at the end of these instal-
lation instructions.

Connecting the timer to the stationary
part of the radio remote control
Observe the EasyStart T timer installation instructions
If the radio remote control is combined with the timer it is
not necessary to install the pushbutton.
After installing the push-on sleeves and fl at connector,
push the locking clasps onto the 9-pin push-on sleeves
or fl at connector housing.
The readiness of a mobile unit for learning is indicated
by the AddP display on the timer instead of by the push-
button.
The fuse must be removed for at least 58 seconds in
order to subsequently start the teach mode.
The displays of the control units are automatically aligned
with each other.
The heater diagnosis cable (bl/ws) must be connected.
Install room temperature sensor (optional)
Use the screw supplied
to fi x the optional room tempe-
rature sensor inside the vehicle so that the representative
interior temperature is measured.
Do not place the room temperature sensor within the
sun‘s radiation range, near to the vehicle heater‘s outlet
jets or in the footwell.
Recommendation:
The room temperature sensor should be installed at seat
level in the centre console.
