Glue the motor mount stick to the firewall from the back.

Slide your motor assembly firmly onto the motor mount stick. When
positioned correctly, the back of the nut that the propeller fits over should be
1-3/4" (44mm) in front of the firewall
(A).Thiswillensurethatthecowling
willlineupwhenit'sinstalled.

Dependingonthemotorassemblythatyou'reusing,youmayneedto
cutthemotormountstickshortertoachievethecorrectmeasurement.

When satisfied with the alignment, secure the motor assembly to the
motormountstickusingtwoshortwoodscrews(notincluded).
IMPORTANT The back of the motor is supposed to slide into the cutout near the bottom of the firewall. It might be necessary
for you to enlarge the hole slightly so that your motor will fit without rubbing against the firewall.

Alignthecowlingonthefuselageandholditinplacewithpiecesof
maskingtape.Whenalignedproperly,themoldedliponthebackofthe
cowlingshouldoverlapthefrontofthefuselageevenlyandtheedgesofthe
cutoutinthebottomofthecowlingshouldlineupequallyoverthebottom
sidesofthefuselage.Theholeinthefrontofthecowlingshouldbecentered
aroundthemotorshaft,too.
step 2: instAlling the CoWling

Thecowlingisheldinplacewiththreewoodscrews-oneateachbottom
cornerandoneatthetop.Drill1/16"(1.6mm)pilotholesintothecowling
andthroughthefuselage,theninstallthewoodscrews.

Plywoodplateshavebeenpregluedintothefuselagetothreadthewood
screwsinto.
PRO TIPBeforeinstallingthewoodscrews,applyadropofthinC/Ainto
thepilotholestostrengthenthesurroundingplywood.
