Fault lock-out
If it recognises one of the following fault features, the heater will conduct
a fault lock-out.
This will result in the operating indicator light going out.
The combustion air blower and the circulating pump will be shut down
after approx. 120 seconds.
Faults when the heater is switched on:
– Undervoltage (< 21 Volt).
– Interruption of the solenoid valves.
– Vacuum switch defective.
Faults during the start procedure:
– No flame identified approx. 30 seconds after the heater is started.
– No vacuum.
Faults whilst the heater is operating:
– Break in combustion for longer than 10 seconds.
– Falling below the undervoltage threshold (< 21 Volt) for longer than
20 seconds.
The fault lock-out can be cancelled by switching the heater off and on
again.
Faults due to overheating:
If the heater overheats the temperature limit will complete a fault lock-out.
The heater will be disabled to prevent its being switched on again and
cannot be restarted until it has been inspected by Webasto trained
personnel.
